Across the 2000s, matchless independent artist Sufjan Stevens created ten volumes of beautiful, quirky and compelling Christmas Songs that have become modern Christmas classics. The Sufjan Songs for Christmas team selects songs ranging from the beautiful That Was the Worst Christmas Ever to the iconic Christmas Unicorn to present at Huddersfield Parish Church of St Peter's.
The galleried edifice of St Peter's plays host to the cream of Huddersfield's local music scene heading a 25 piece band and 30 piece choir.
Expect epic tunes, big feels and silliness along with the traditional participations: the finely-crafted instant song and mostly-chaotic pass-the-parcel.
Glorious.
Tickets £12 in advance (£15 OTD) with £5 concessions for children. They'll be available from 2nd October.
