July 10th 2021 at 7pm online

This summer we would love to reconnect with you all - not a 5-hour gig this time, but just an hour - to share some joyfully unseasonal music on 10th July 2021 at 7pm.

The event will include live music, a quiz, a poll, the wearing of some fancy clothes, the simultaneous eating of identical snacks and cocktails, chat and a collaborative tiled video.

We have made a template version of Sufjan's song ‘Christmas In July’ and would love for you to record and film your part (instrumental or vocal), and we will edit together a mahoosive video version of everyone contributing in glorious various ways. Details of how to take part below.

We are also going to attempt to play live together over Zoom and create a new song using our combined skills, humour and quirky endeavour. Finally we will be revealing plans for Christmas 2021 - four events in the pipeline!

As it states in the overview above, we will create a new song together. Our theme is going to be all the things that might happen at the ’wrong’ season - like Christmas In July - please send us ideas, words and/or music to or contact us here

We are also going to attempt to play live together over Zoom with as many of you as would like. We have chosen some simple instrumental tunes by Sufjan that should work even with latency and delay.
‘Redford' (from Michigan)

'Riffs and Variations on a single note for Jelly Roll, Earl Hines, Louis Armstrong, Baby Dodds and the King Of Swing To Name A Few' (from Illinoise)

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th July!
